The Steeple Morden Parish Council are pleased to announce the 2022 award winner: Mike Smith
The Queen’s Jubilee Award is presented by the Parish Council to a member of the community who has gone above and beyond in helping others
Mike Smith is not only the Secretary for the Village Hall at present and part of the team that helps maintain the Recreation Ground. In the past he was the Treasurer of the Friends of the Church, during the time they were raising money for the roof. Before that he was the Treasurer for the Village Hall many years ago. Mike also is a staunch supporter of the Litter Picking Initiative and regularly turns up to help. All the tasks he takes on he does thoroughly and without fuss.
